Pregnancy Survey...Just for fun

Here's a pregnancy survey that I found online and decided to fill it out just for fun.

1) Due date and how far along are you?
I am 25 weeks today!! That is six months and 1 week!!! The anticipated due date is March 24, 2011.

2) How/When did you first fund out? I had actually been tracking my temperature with an online program which was pretty neat. It helps target when you ovulate and gives you an idea on when you should test for pregnancy. This was great for us because we had been disappointed with several negatives. We took the first test July 22, which had a very faint positive. We took the test again July 25, and had a very clear positive. We were about 5 weeks when we found out!!

3) What was your first reaction? We were very excited to find out that we were pregnant. We started talking about having kids in January and decided to try to get pregnant. About 6 months later we were!!

4) Are you having a boy, girl, or keeping it a surprise? We are having a little boy!!

5) Name/s you have picked out? We have decided on Jesse Mitchell. Joe wanted to name the baby after two of his "blood brothers" who he served in the Army with. I've always liked the name Jesse so I had no problem with it. Thankfully, it's a boy because we would have had to negotiate the girl names!!

6) Favorite part of this pregnancy? I love seeing the ultrasounds and watching baby Jesse move and kick and squirm all over the place! At 16 weeks I began to feel him move and that has become my daily entertainment! I just love how he makes his presence known with all of his movements!!

7) Least favorite part of this pregnancy? I have scoliosis and all of this relaxin hormone is making things worse. I hate the low back/hip pain that I constantly get; however, it is so much better than the nausea. In the first trimester, I had morning sickness pretty bad (no vomiting just intense nausea 24/7)! It was like having the flu for six weeks straight!!

8) Biggest worry or fear about labor? I'm worried about an emergency situation occurring. Jesse is going to be delivered at a birth center by Midwives instead of at a hospital. I know the birth center is really close to the hospital but it's still in the back of my mind.

9) Delivery method: VBAC, C-section, water birth, vaginal w/o pain meds, vaginal with pain meds, etc.? Delivering at a birth center limits your options!! I can't take meds even if I'm screaming or begging for them!! LOL!! It's going to be an all natural birth! Thankfully, the midwives know natural ways to deal with the pain!

10) Are you OK with what you have gained so far? So far I have gained about 16 pounds. I have no problem with the weight I've gained so far. In fact I was kind of concerned that I wasn't gaining weight faster.

11) How was your morning sickness/How long did it last? Well I already kind of answered this but I was miserable for about 6 weeks straight. I actually only threw up once but it was awful and I didn't drink milk for some time after that incident!!! The worst part was feeling sick to my stomach and knowing that 1. I had to eat healthy for Jesse, and 2. that if I didn't eat something I'd just feel worse!!! I also had several food aversions: peanuts (including peanut butter) and red meat really just tossed my stomach!!
